Crags are Black Still

My Website:    Date: 12th/01/2012

Gutted I forgot my camera today, it did turn into a pleasant afternoon with a couple of wintery showers pushing through. On a whole though the crags are much the same in the Northern Cories, there was a light dusting of snow but not enough to warrant climbable conditions.

Trying to keep the faith though, I’m off into the Cairngorm’s tomorrow with an extra strong team of climbers (local and international). If there’s something worth climbing out there we are going to find it! I think I’ve been invited along to lower the standards rather than raise them!

On another note, a big well done is deserved by all eleven candidates that completed their Winter Mountain Leader Training. The weather was mixed to say the least and some times we were working hard to find the snow but a great six days was had by all. Nice One. This course was Provided by Phill George and Directed by myself.
